Brief about Dr. Wachira Thanaprachum
Dr. Wachira Thanaprachum is a eminent Endocrinologist with over 21 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. He further pursued specialized training, earning his Diploma from the Thai Board of Internal Medicine and later his Sub-Board Certification in Endocrinology and Metabolism from Chulalongkorn Hospital under the Thai Red Cross Society.
Dr. Wachira’s special interests include the management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and autoimmune thyroid conditions, as well as adrenal and pituitary gland disorders like Addison’s disease and Cushing’s syndrome. He also has significant expertise in treating metabolic syndrome, obesity-related health conditions, and hormone-induced hypertension.
