Brief About Dr. Yajuvendra Gawai
Dr. Yajuvendra Gawai is a highly respected Orthopedic surgeon with over 16 years of experience. He specializes in various procedures such as knee arthroplasty, frozen shoulder treatment, collar bone fractures, hip arthroplasty, partial knee replacement, and osteoarthritis.
Dr. Yajuvendra obtained his MBBS degree from King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 2000. He then pursued his MS in Orthopedics in 2004. To further enhance his skills, he completed fellowships in Sports Orthopedics & Arthroscopy in New York in 2011, and Shoulder surgery and Sports Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Yajuvendra has worked with esteemed institutions including Dr. Gawai’s Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Clinic, Parakh Hospital, Hiranandani Hospital, and Hospital for Joint Diseases New York. He is currently affiliated with the Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM), Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS), and Indo Euro Arthroscopy Association (IEAA). Dr. Yajuvendra’s special interests lie in knee arthroplasty, hip arthroplasty, collar bone fractures, frozen shoulder treatment, shoulder pain, unicompartmental knee replacement, knee braces for osteoarthritis, knee pain treatment, elbow replacement, bone trauma, minimally invasive hip correction, fracture treatment, osteoporosis treatment, pain management counseling, and arthritis treatment.
