Dr. Yee Kok Meng is a highly skilled Electrophysiologist and Interventional Cardiologist with over 20 years of experience. He is currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Pantai Hospital Cheras in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dr. Yee’s expertise lies in various areas of cardiology, including small vessel stenting, chronic total occlusions, percutaneous interventions in diabetics, intravascular ultrasound, aldosterone and autonomic tone in heart failure.
Dr. Yee is well-versed in the use of advanced adjunctive devices and therapies such as rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), OCT, and coronary Doppler wire. He is proficient in performing complex angioplasty, renal artery denervation, and intracoronary stem cell therapies.
Throughout his career, Dr. Yee has contributed to the field of cardiology through his research and publications in esteemed international journals like Circulation, Journal of American College Cardiology, and the European Heart Journal.
Dr. Yee obtained his MB ChB (Internal Medicine) degree from the University of Edinburgh, UK in 1993. He further honed his skills by completing a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Toronto in 2001.
