Brief About Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedi Omay
Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedi Omay is a haematologist who has worked in the profession for over 36 years. In 1985, he completed his medical study at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, and in 1990, he also obtained his speciality in Internal Medicine at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. Further, in 1995, he also earned a doctorate degree from Japan Mie School of Medicine in haematology, a sub-specialty.
Meanwhile, in 1997, he was also appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Hematology at Ege University Faculty of Medicine after completing his military service at Gühane Military Medical Academy. In addition, he has written 41 articles and case reports that have been read by SCI, 7 articles and also case reports that have been published in peer-reviewed and quarterly journals, and 112 papers that have been presented at national and international events.
