Brief About Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan
Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan, a renowned Gynecologist and Obstetrician based in Istanbul, Turkey, is a highly experienced professional with over 44 years of expertise in the field. He is a distinguished member of various prestigious organizations such as the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), American Society for Reproductive Medicine, European Society for Gynecological Endoscopy, and the International Scientific Committee of the Middle East Fertility Society (MEFS), among others.
In addition to his impressive credentials, Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan has chaired the International World Assisted Reproductive Techniques and Genetics Congress (IVF) held in Istanbul in May 2005. He also serves as a board member for the educational activities of the newly established International Society of In Vitro Fertilization.
Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan began his academic career in 1985 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hacettepe University. Apart from his academic pursuits, Prof. Dr. Timur Gurgan has been serving as the Scientific Director of Gurgan Clinic Women’s Health, Infertility, and IVF Center in Ankara since 2000. His areas of expertise include Dysmenorrhea, Pregnancy, Gynecology, HPV infection, Menstrual disorders, Risky Pregnancy, Painful Sexual Intercourse, Menopause, and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
