Dr. Atul Peters is a distinguished bariatric surgeon specializing in patients with weight issues. With over two decades of experience, he performs more than 300 surgeries annually. Dr. Peters holds the world record for the highest number of surgeries conducted in a single day, standing at eighteen. Recognized as a “Surgeon Of Excellence” by the Surgical Review Corporation in the USA, he is committed to providing safe and high-quality surgical care.
Additionally, Dr. Peters is a certified fitness trainer from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and leads a bariatric support group that incorporates music therapy. As a founding member of ACMOMS (Asian Consensus Meeting on Metabolic Surgery), he initiated a successful bariatric program in North West Africa, completing over 40 surgeries.
