Brief About Dr. Bhuvan Chanana
Dr. Bhuvan Chanana is an experienced ophthalmologist based in New Delhi, India. With 13 years of experience, he currently serves as the Head of the Vitreo-retina department at Bharti Eye Hospital.
Dr. Chanana has made significant contributions to the field of ophthalmology, including establishing the surgical retina department at Guru Tegan Bahadur Hospital and managing the retina clinics there. He specializes in Vitreo-retinal surgeries and has co-edited a book titled “Video Atlas of Vitreo-Retinal Surgery.”
Prior to his current position, Dr. Chanana worked as an Associate Professor at University College of Medical Sciences, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi, and also completed a fellowship in vitreo-retina at Inselspital, University of Bern, Switzerland. He is a member of prestigious organizations such as the National Academy of Medical Science, All Indian Ophthalmological Society, and Vitreo-Retina Society of India. Dr. Chanana’s special interest lies in Vitreo-retinal Surgery.
