Brief About Dr. C. Chinnaswami
Dr. C. Chinnaswami is a highly esteemed Urologist and Renal Transplant Specialist based in Chennai, India. With an impressive career spanning over 45 years, Dr. Chinnaswami has gained extensive expertise in various areas of urology. He received his training in Urology at the prestigious Institute of Urology in London and the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, UK, under the guidance of Mr. David Band from 1961-64.
Dr. Chinnaswami’s areas of specialization include Erectile Dysfunction, Male Sexual Problems, H.I.V, Hydrocele Treatment (Surgical), and Vasectomy Surgery. He has held significant positions throughout his career, including being a Former Syndicate Member of Annamalai University and Former Adviser at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute (Deemed University) in Porur, Chennai. Dr. Chinnaswami is a Life Member of the Association of Surgeons of India, Senior Member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, and a Life Member of the Urological Society of India. He also served as the President of the Urological Society of India from 1985-86.
Currently, Dr. Chinnaswami serves as the Director of the Madras Institute of Urology at Vijaya Hospital in Chennai. He is also a Senior Member of the Societe Internationale de Urologic. In recognition of his contributions to the field of urology, Dr. Chinnaswami has been honored with the Urology Gold Medal by the Urological Society of India. He has published numerous articles in both national and international peer-reviewed journals.
