Dr. GR Verma is a highly skilled Surgical Gastroenterologist with over 42 years of experience in the field. He specializes in Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary surgery and Gastrointestinal surgery.
Dr. Verma completed his medical education at KGMC Lucknow in 1977 and obtained his Master of Surgery from PGIMER in 1981. He was a pioneer in Laparoscopic Surgery during his time at PGIMER and later served as a Senior Professor and HOD in Surgical Gastroenterology until March 2019.
Dr. Verma has received training in Laparoscopic Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic surgery from prestigious institutions in the USA, UK, Germany, and Japan. He is a recipient of the DAAD fellowship and FRCS. Dr. Verma’s special interests include HPB and GI Surgery.
