Dr. Ishita B. Sen is currently employed as the Additional Director and Head of Nuclear Medicine at Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon. Positron Emission Tomography and Radionuclide Therapy for Oncology are two of her primary interests. Dr. Ishita’s expertise includes naming a few, the application of basic ideas of positron emission tomography to oncologic imaging and the integration of imaging data into management decisions, as well as Molecular imaging of tumor cell growth and perfusion.
In the meantime, she contributed numerous original articles, reviews, clinical communications, and abstracts to the peer-reviewed imaging and oncology literature. She organized various nuclear medicine workshops and seminars on a national and international scale, and she gave numerous presentations at major national and international conferences and meetings.
