Brief About Dr. Jagdish Chander Suri
Dr. Jagdish Chander Suri is a distinguished Pulmonologist based in New Delhi, India, boasting an impressive 35 years of experience in the field. His expertise lies in the treatment of airway diseases such as asthma and COPD, as well as conducting pulmonary function tests. Dr. Suri obtained his MBBS in 1977 and DTCD in 1981 from the University of Delhi, followed by an MD in Pulmonary Medicine in 1984 and a DNB in Respiratory Medicine in 1985. He furthered his education with a Fellowship in Kidney and Pancreatic Transplant from the University of Pittsburgh Medical College in 1997.
Dr. Suri serves as the National advisor for the Pulmonary Group of the Drug Controller General India and has held leadership positions in various medical associations. Notably, he founded the Indian Sleep Disorder Association and established the First Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in India at Safdarjung Hospital in 1990.
