Dr. Kapil Kumar has 30 years of expertise as a surgical oncologist. He has worked as a Senior Consultant at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre in Delhi, as well as an Honorary Senior Consultant at Dharamshila Cancer Hospital in New Delhi.
He completed his MBBS from Medical College, Amritsar, from 1974 to 1979. M.S. (Surgery) from Medical College, Amritsar, December 1982. His research appointments include Senior Research Fellow to CRIR, New Delhi, on ‘Peritoneovenous Shunts in Intractable Ascites’.
