Brief About Dr. Krantikumar Rathod
Dr. Krantikumar Rathod is a highly esteemed Radiation Oncologist based in Mumbai, India. With over 21 years of experience in the field, he has established himself as a leading expert in Interventional Radiology. Dr. Rathod is a Life Member and Executive Committee Member of the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Additionally, he holds the position of Associate Fellow at the Endovascular Intervention Society of India and is a Life Member of the Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology Society of Europe.
Dr. Rathod’s contributions to the field have been recognized through various accolades. He was the winner of the Scientific Poster Presentation competition for Radiology Education Foundation, specifically for his work on Transhepatic Billary Intervention. He also received the Poster Winner award for Ultrasound and color doppler in Budd-Chiari Syndrome.
His areas of expertise include Interventional Neuroradiology, Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS), Radio Frequency Ablation for Liver, Lung, and Bone Focal Lesions, Panoramic radiology, and PICC Line Insertion, among others.
