Dr. Amit Ghanekar is a highly experienced medical oncologist based in Mumbai, India. With over 21 years of expertise in the field, he specializes in the treatment of various blood disorders such as Thrombocytopenia, Polycythemia, Leukaemoid reaction, Myelodysplastic syndromes, Refractory Anemia’s, Myeloproliferative disorders, Aplastic Anemia, bone marrow and stem cell transplantations for Myeloma, lymphoma, leukemia, Thalassemia, and rare/immune disorders, among others.
Dr. Amit Ghanekar completed his MBBS from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Sion Hospital, his M.D. in Internal Medicine from B.J Medical College and Sassoon Hospital in Pune, and his D.N.B. in Medical Oncology from Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre. He also pursued a Fellowship in Haemato-oncology and Bone Marrow Transplantation from P.AK.H, a renowned institute in Mumbai.
