Brief About Dr. Malvika Sabharwal
Dr. Malvika Sabharwal is a highly experienced gynecologist and obstetrician based in New Delhi, India. With over 39 years of practice, she is a Senior Consultant at Apollo Spectra Hospital. Dr. Sabharwal is a recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri award, the fourth-highest civilian honor in India, presented by the President in 2008. She has successfully conducted more than 50,000 surgeries and holds a world record for the largest fibroid removal without affecting the patient’s reproductive system.
Dr. Sabharwal earned her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, and DGO from Govt. Medical College, Patiala. She received laparoscopic training from renowned gynecologist Dr. Adam Magos at Royalfree Hospital in London and hysteroscopy training from Dr. Wamsteker at Spaarne Hospital, Haarlem in the Netherlands. Dr. Sabharwal has numerous publications in international journals and contributes health columns to various publications including Hindustan Times, Times of India, and Femina.
