Brief About Dr. Prof. Rajesh Malhotra
Dr. Prof. Rajesh Malhotra is a highly experienced Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon based in New Delhi, India. With over 35 years of expertise, he specializes in various areas such as hip resurfacing, arthroscopic surgery, and joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Malhotra obtained his MBBS and MS – Orthopaedics degrees from AIIMS, New Delhi, India. He has achieved several notable milestones in his career, including being the first person in India to perform a total acetabular allograft, proximal femoral allograft, and trabecular metal implant for revision hip replacement. He is also skilled in performing complex revision joint replacements using massive skeletal allografts.
Dr. Malhotra has made significant contributions to the field and has organized the first Navigated Cadaveric Hip Arthroplasty Course in India. His expertise has been recognized internationally, and he has been invited as an expert by prestigious organizations such as the American Society for Bone & Mineral Research (ASBMR). He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences (MASc), the National Academy of Sciences, India, and the Indian Orthopedic Association.
