Brief About Dr. Rajagopalan Krishnan
Dr. Rajagopalan Krishnan currently working at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi as a Senior Consultant in Orthopedics and Spine Surgery and has 35 years of experience overall.
For 10 years, he worked at Mid-Cheshire Hospital, where he saw around 3200 OPD spine patients each year. Every year, he does around 400 spine procedures.
Furthermore, he is interested in complex spine surgery such as manubriosternotomy for upper thoracic anterior instrumentation, jaw-splitting craniocervical surgery, total sacrectomy with lumbopelvic reconstruction, skull-separation cervical osteotomy, complex revision of failed spine surgery and shape memory metal rods, and also staple instrumentation systems for spinal deformities.
Simple cervical and lumbar discectomies to cervical and lumbar disc replacements, vertebrectomies, TESSYS, spinal trauma reconstruction, spinal tumours and the whole spectrum of spinal abnormalities have all been performed. In addition, the Sacred Tarlov cyst procedures and the long and short segment anterior rectification have been implemented.
