Brief About Dr. Shikha Halder
Dr. Shikha Halder is a well-known radiation oncologist with over 24 years of expertise in the field. She has a keen interest in head and neck cancers, and cancers related to the cervix. As a part of the group that introduced Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) to New Delhi in 2002, she played an essential contribution. She has experience treating AVMs, acoustic neuroma, pituitary adenoma, craniopharyngioma, brain metastases, and other clinical disorders with radiosurgery.
Furthermore, She was awarded the 3rd and 4th S Takahashi Memorial International Fellowships for her outstanding contributions to cancer cervix research in Nagoya, Japan in 2001 and 2004. Moreover, she is passionate about clinical research and has published over 20 research papers in peer-reviewed publications around the world. She belongs to the Indian Association of Radiation Oncologists.
