Brief About Dr. Sonia Naik
Dr. Sonia Naik is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynecologist based in New Delhi, India. With a career spanning over 26 years, she specializes in various areas including High-Risk obstetric care, Gynec Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopy, High-Risk Pregnancy, Menopause and related Issues, Adolescent Gynec Problems, and Reproductive Endocrinology.
Dr. Naik completed her MBBS from the prestigious Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal and her MD from Pt. JLN Medical College in Raipur. She further enhanced her skills through postdoctoral training at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital & AIIMS in New Delhi, advanced training in Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy at the Royal Bradford Infirmary in the UK, and infertility training at Reliance Life Sciences in Mumbai.
One of Dr. Naik’s notable contributions is the initiation of the first structured Antenatal educational sessions for pregnant women in New Delhi. Her dedication and expertise have earned her recognition, including being named the Most Inspiring Gynaecologist by Economics Times in 2018 and receiving the Rotary Vocational Award for Lifetime Contribution to Maternal & Child Health in 2022.
Dr. Naik holds lifetime memberships with esteemed organizations such as FOGSI, the Indian Menopause Society, the Indian Fertility Society, and the Indian Association of Gynecology Endoscopy. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
