Brief About Dr. Tanveer Abdul Majeed
Dr. Tanveer Abdul Majeed is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist based in Mumbai, India. With a career spanning over 25 years, he is renowned for his expertise in the management of Thoracic Hepatopancreaticobiliary & Gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Majeed specializes in both minimally invasive and open techniques, with a particular focus on Cytoreductive HIPEC Surgery and Robotic Surgery. His areas of specialization include Gastrointestinal, Hepatopancreaticobiliary, and Thoracic Cancers, as well as General Surgical Oncology in Breast, Gynec, Head & Neck, and Uro oncology.
Dr. Majeed completed his MBBS from Karnataka University in 1993, followed by MS (General Surgery) and DNB (General Surgery) from the University of Mumbai. He further pursued Fellowships in Thoracic Oncology & Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery, as well as Hepatopancreaticobiliary & Liver Transplantation in Singapore.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Majeed has made significant contributions to the field of Surgical Oncology. He has authored five chapters in various textbooks, including the European Textbook of Surgical Oncology, and has published 14 articles in indexed national and international journals.
