Brief About Maj Gen (Dr) JKS Parihar (Retd)
Maj Gen (Dr) JKS Parihar (Retd) is a highly experienced ophthalmologist and eye surgeon based in New Delhi, India. With over 35 years of practice, he specializes in a wide range of services including SMILE Eye Surgery, LASIK & Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma Treatment, Cataract Surgery, and Cornea Services.
Dr. Parihar obtained his MBBS from GRMC Gwalior and MGM Indore, DOMS (Indore) MS (Jabalpur), and DNB from AIIMS New Delhi. He also completed a Post Doctoral Training in Anterior Segment Microsurgery. Recognized as a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Medical Sciences (FAMS), he served in the Indian armed forces for more than three decades, reaching the rank of Major General.
Dr. Parihar is a renowned academician, medical administrator, and educator, particularly excelling in refractory glaucoma and kerato lenticular refractive surgery. He has an impressive publication record with 102 research articles in national and international journals, along with 705 research papers and instructional courses presented at various conferences.
