Brief About Prof. Dr. Hassan Siegfried Abou-Rebyeh
Prof. Dr. Hassan Siegfried Abou-Rebyeh, a distinguished gastroenterologist based in Abu Dhabi, has more than 40 years of experience in his specialty. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Medicine from Medical College in 1980 and his PhD in Infection and Microbiology from the Institute of Infection and Microbiology in 1989, both from Free University in Germany. In 2009, he earned his MSc (Study Evidence-Based Health Care) from Oxford University in the United Kingdom. His particular areas of expertise are Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, and Hepatology. He also specialises in interventional endoscopy, which includes gastroscopy, enteroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, PTC, video capsule, cholangioscopy, and endoscopic ultrasound, among other procedures.
Prof. Dr. Hassan Siegfried Abou-Rebyeh has authored 34 original articles, provided over 28 peer-reviewed papers in international medical journals, addressed 6 book chapters, and prepared over 200 international congress presentations. He also contributes to a number of international medical journals as an analyst on endoscopy and gastrointestinal issues.
