Brief About Dr. Ameya Udyavar
Dr. Ameya Udyavar is a renowned cardiac electrophysiologist in Mumbai, India, with over two decades of experience. He holds an MBBS from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, DNB in cardiology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai, DM in cardiology from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai, and MD in medicine from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Udyavar is affiliated with prestigious medical organizations such as the Association of Physicians of India (API), Cardiology Society of India, and Indian Heart Rhythm Society. He was honored with the Young Investigator Award at the Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society Meeting in 2006. Dr. Udyavar’s expertise lies in the treatment of heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, Coronary Angioplasty, Coronary Angiography, Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator implantation (AICD), Permanent pacemaker implantation (Single or Dual Chamber), and the prevention and treatment of heartbeat problems including AF, VT, and SVT. He has authored 32 research publications and received specialized training in cardiac electrophysiology and devices in Taiwan and Australia.
