Brief About Dr. Ganesh Nallur Shivu
Dr. Ganesh Nallur Shivu is a highly regarded Interventional Cardiologist based in Bangalore, India. With over 23 years of experience in the field, he has established himself as a Senior Consultant at Kauvery Hospitals in Electronic City, Bangalore.
Dr. Shivu’s expertise lies in a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures. He has successfully performed over 5,000 diagnostic angiograms and more than 2,000 coronary angioplasties, utilizing the radial artery as the primary access route for surgeries. Additionally, he has conducted over 150 pacemaker and ICD insertions.
His extensive experience extends to various adjunctive coronary interventional techniques, including rotational atherectomy, pressure wire evaluation, LASER, IVUS, optical coherence tomography, and distal protection device use. He is also proficient in peripheral interventions such as femoral, iliac, below-knee angioplasty, and fistuloplasties.
