Brief About Dr. Hakan Emmez
Dr. Hakan Emmez is a highly experienced Neurosurgeon with over 21 years of practice. He is recognized as a European Board Certified Neurosurgeon and specializes in various areas including Pediatric Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, Neurooncology, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Gamma knife Radiosurgery. Dr. Emmez is proficient in managing a wide range of disorders affecting the central and peripheral nervous system, such as congenital anomalies, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, infections of the brain or spine, and stroke. He obtained his medical degree from Gazi University in 1999 and completed his Neurosurgery Residency Program at Gazi University Medical School in 2005. In 2013, he earned his Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience. Dr. Emmez is an esteemed member of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society and the European Association of Neurosurgical Society (EANS). He has contributed significantly to the field with over 60 articles published in international journals and has authored three books on neurosurgery. Dr. Emmez is frequently invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CDE’s, and conferences worldwide to share his expertise in Neurosurgeries. Currently, he serves as the Vice-president of the Turkish Neurosurgical Society. His special interests lie in Pediatric Neurosurgery, Spine Surgery, Neurooncology, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, and Gamma knife Radiosurgery.
