Brief About Dr. Joseph Xavier
Dr. Joseph Xavier is a highly experienced Cardiac Surgeon with over 26 years of expertise in the field of cardio-thoracic surgeries. He currently serves as a Consultant at Manipal Hospital Sarjapur Road in Bengaluru, India. Dr. Xavier is renowned for his exceptional skills in performing various cardio-thoracic procedures, including ASD repair, CABG (Redo), cardiac valve replacement, bypass surgery, heart double valve replacement, VSD closure/repair in adults, reconstructive microvascular surgery, and cardiac ablation. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Xavier is also the founding trustee and Vice President of the Needy Heart Foundation.
He completed his MBBS from St. John’s Medical College in 1986, followed by an MS from Kottyam Medical College in 1991. He further pursued a Master’s degree in 1997 from Sri Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology. In 2011, Dr. Xavier obtained an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. Dr. Xavier’s special interests lie in Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) Repair, Bentall Procedure, CABG – Redo, Cardiac Valve Replacement, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Heart Double Valve Replacement, and VSD Closure/Repair in adults.
