Brief About Dr. Kapil Kochhar
Dr. Kapil Kochhar is a highly experienced bariatric and minimal access surgeon based in New Delhi, India. With over 29 years of practice, he has successfully performed more than 9000 laparoscopic surgeries both in India and internationally. Dr. Kochhar has undergone observer ships in Laparoscopic Surgery at prestigious institutions such as Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, USA (2004) and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, UK (2006).
His areas of expertise include sleeve Gastrectomy, Advanced Minimal Access Surgeries, Laparoscopic Hiatus Hernia repair, total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Adrenalectomy, and Laparoscopic Abdomino Perineal Resection (APR). Dr. Kochhar played a key role in introducing laparoscopic surgery in Afghanistan.
He is a member of various medical councils including Delhi Medical Council (DMC), Medical Council of India (MCI), and Haryana Medical Council.
