Brief About Dr. Prerna Badhe
Dr. Prerna Badhe is a highly experienced Neurologist based in Mumbai, India. With over 28 years of expertise in the field, she is the Director of Neurogen Brain and Spine Institute. Dr. Badhe obtained her MBBS and MD degrees from Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai University. She further specialized in immunohistochemistry and Electron Microscopy in Neuropathology at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS).
In addition, she completed fellowships at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Baltimore, John Hopkins, USA, and the Kentucky Spinal Cord and Injury Research Centre (KSCIRC), USA, focusing on Molecular Neurobiology and Neuroregeneration.
Dr. Badhe’s dedication to research is evident through her receipt of a Government of India DST grant for her experimental study on the effectiveness of treatment in traumatic spinal cord injury. She is an esteemed member of the British Society of Neuropathology and the International Society of Neuropathology. Dr. Badhe’s special interest lies in the field of neurological disorders.
