Brief About Dr. Rajeev Bedi
Dr. Rajeev Bedi, a highly esteemed Medical Oncologist, is based in Mohali, India and possesses over 20 years of extensive experience in the field. His areas of expertise include Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Gynecological Cancer, GI Cancer, Leukemia, Lymphomas, Stem Cell Transplantation, Melanoma Treatment, Head and Neck Tumor, Cancer Surgery, Cancer Screening (Preventive), and Chemotherapy of Haematological Malignancies, among others. In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Dr. Bedi was awarded the Gold Medal and the prestigious Geeta Mittal award for Best Cancer Researcher of the year in 2002 by the President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He obtained his MBBS degree from the University of Bangalore, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Gulbarga University. Subsequently, he pursued a DM in Oncology from the renowned AIIMS, New Delhi, and completed a fellowship from the European Society of Medical Oncology.
Dr. Bedi is affiliated with various professional organizations, including the Indian Medical Association, Punjab Medical Council, European Society of Medical Oncology, American Cancer Society, and The American Society of Clinical Oncology. He has authored over 50 national and international publications and is frequently invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CME’s, and global conferences to share his expertise on various types of cancer.
Dr. Rajeev Bedi’s special interests lie in Breast Cancer Management, Giant Cell Tumor Treatment, Chemotherapy, PICC Line Insertion, Chemotherapy of Solid Tumors, Ewing’s Sarcoma Treatment, Breast Cancer Treatment, and Brachytherapy (Internal Radiation Therapy).
