Dr. Rakesh Rai Sapra is a well-known Cardiologist who has been in practice for over 19 years. Over 1,050 independent vascular interventions have been performed by him, including coronary angioplasties, balloon valvotomy, peripheral angioplasties such as renal and carotid angioplasties, and congenital interventions such as PDA and ASD closures.
Following his MBBS in 1989, he went on to earn an MD in Internal Medicine from PGIMER Chandigarh in 1993, and a DM in Cardiology from AIIMS in New Delhi in 1996. In 2001, he received Cardiac Electrophysiology training certification from Mount Sinai Medical School in New York, USA, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, USA. In the meantime, he has written numerous articles, publications, research papers, and so on.
