Brief About Dr. Rupinder Sekhon
Dr. Rupinder Sekhon is a distinguished Gynaecologic Oncologist with more than four decades of experience. She specializes in ovarian cancer, cytoreductive surgery, and HIPEC in recurrent ovarian cancer, among other areas. Dr. Sekhon obtained her MBBS and DGO from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar, Punjab, followed by an MD from PGIMER, Chandigarh. She also holds a Diploma in Advanced Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy from Germany. With numerous successful surgeries for cervical and endometrial cancer, she is a respected member of ISCCP and IAGES.
Dr. Sekhon is a Certified Robotic Console Surgeon since 2011, having conducted numerous robotic surgeries for various gynae cancers. She was the pioneer in Robotic surgery in Gynae Oncology in Connecticut, USA, and the first to perform Peritonectomy and HIPEC in Ovarian cancer in North India. Her special interests include Secondary cytoreductive surgery in ovarian cancer, Recurrences in cancer endometrium, Radical Vulvectomy, and Robotic Radical Hysterectomy.
