Brief About Dr. Sharifah Roohi
Dr. Sharifah Roohi is a highly experienced Hand Surgeon with almost five decades of expertise. She serves as the President Elect of the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association and is a member of various prestigious organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Orthopedic Association, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and American Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Roohi obtained her MD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1990, followed by a fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 1998. She completed her MS from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2000 and received a diploma from the Federation of European Societies for the Surgery of the Hand in 2008. Specializing in arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and microsurgery, she treats a wide range of conditions including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Trigger Finger, and rheumatoid arthritis.
