Brief About Dr. Urmila Soman
Dr. Urmila Soman is a highly respected Gynaecologist and Obstetrician from Kerala, India. With an impressive 22 years of experience, she has established herself as a Senior Consultant at Apollo Adlux Hospital. Dr. Soman’s expertise lies in performing gynaec laparoscopic surgeries, including advanced procedures using minimally invasive techniques. She has successfully conducted over 10,000 such surgeries throughout her career.
One of Dr. Soman’s notable skills is her proficiency in transvaginal tape procedures for urinary stress incontinence and laparoscopic pelvic reconstructive surgeries using mesh. Her educational background includes an MBBS degree from PSG Institute of Medical Sciences, Coimbatore, as well as DGO, DNB, and MNAMS from Government Medical College, Kottayam.
