Brief About Dr. Vanita Shekhar Raut
Dr. Vanita Shekhar Raut is a highly experienced Gynaecologist and Obstetrician based in Mumbai, India. She has been serving as a full-time consultant at Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital since April 2006. Prior to this, she held the position of Professor and Unit Head at Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital.
Dr. Raut specializes in gynaecological oncology, urogynaecology, high-risk pregnancy, and difficult vaginal surgeries. She is recognized for her exceptional clinical acumen and surgical skills, often being invited as faculty for national and international workshops and conferences. With over twenty-five publications to her credit, including research articles and case reports in prestigious journals, Dr. Raut is also actively involved in presenting scientific papers at various conferences.
Additionally, she has served as a convener for workshops and seminars and conducted clinical trials during her tenure as a professor. Dr. Raut’s dedication to the field is further demonstrated through her role as the librarian of Mumbai Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society, a prominent organization under FOGSI.
