Dr. Vijay Kohli is a leading cardiovascular surgeon in India, with over 36 years of experience. He has collaborated on heart failure research with Professor Randas Batista in Brazil and Professor Hertzer at the Berlin Heart Institute in Germany. In addition, in 2001, he was the first surgeon at Jammu Medical College to perform coronary artery bypass surgery.
Dr. Kohli was also the first surgeon in Kathmandu, Nepal, in 2002, to perform coronary artery bypass surgery on a beating heart. He has received numerous awards for his services and has held numerous prestigious national and international positions.
