Prof. Dr. Fatih Karel, an esteemed Ophthalmologist based in Ankara, Turkey, is renowned for his extensive experience of over 31 years in the field. He holds memberships with prestigious organizations such as the Eye Bank Association, Turkish Ophthalmology Association, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and EUROPE Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Karel completed his medical education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1981 and pursued further specialization at the Sinskey Eye Institute in the USA, graduating in 1988.
