AINU also, known as the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology was founded in 2013, and is India's premier center for the study of renal sciences. Within two years of its founding, it became one of India's newest tertiary care hospitals to receive NABH certification. It is one of the few super-specialty hospitals with a focus on urology and nephrology that provides daycare, support services, and both medical and surgical treatment.
Nephrology and urology academic programs are also available at the medical center. While DNB Nephrology started in 2019 with one resident each year, DNB Urology began in 2017 with two residents per year.
