Dr. Micheal Fakih, a renowned and highly respected Obs&Gyn and IVF Specialist, had a vision that led to the establishment of the Fakih IVF Fertility Centre in Dubai in 2011. This center has become a leading institution in the GCC region, specializing in Fertility, IVF, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Genetics.

Setting itself apart from others, the Fakih IVF Fertility Centre is the only facility in the Middle East with an in-house Genetics Laboratory. It was also the first center in the UAE to successfully perform MicroTESE, a procedure that allows for sperm retrieval in cases where it was previously deemed impossible for IVF treatment.
Additionally, the center was the pioneer in the Middle East to offer Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) and HLA matching for leukemia siblings in need of a bone marrow donor. PGD is a testing process conducted on embryos to identify any genetic abnormalities when one or both parents have a known genetic condition.
