The King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok was founded on May 30, 1914, and it now serves as a public and tertiary care hospital, as well as one of Thailand's greatest public hospitals.
It is run by the Thai Red Cross Society and serves as a teaching hospital for medicine and nursing students. The Radiology Department is well-equipped with cutting-edge technology such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT Scan), mammography and other laboratory services.
It also contains five Centers of Excellence: the Cardiac Centre, the Chulalongkorn Craniofacial Centre, the Glaucoma Imaging & Diagnostic Centre, the Excimer Laser Centre, and the Queen Sikriti Centre for Breast Cancer.
