Multiple Myeloma Treatment of Ann Nnenna Ndibe From Lagos
Name: Mrs. Ann Nnenna Ndibe
Native Country: Lagos, Nigeria
Hi, my name is Ann Nnenna Ndibe from Lagos, Nigeria, and a mother of five children. One day, I started feeling pain in certain parts of my body and I knew that something was not right. I decided to visit a doctor and after some tests, I was diagnosed with a spine problem. Upon further diagnosis, it was discovered that I had multiple myeloma, a type of cancer that affects plasma cells.
Initially, I was scared and unsure about the whole situation. I was anxious about how I would manage the treatments and if I would ever recover. That’s when I started searching for centers that could offer me the best treatment and care. After a lot of research, I found Medsurge India and decided to contact them for help. The team at Medsurge India responded quickly and provided detailed information about my treatment.
When I arrived in India, I was picked up from the airport by a member of the Medsurge India team who took me directly to my apartment. The next day, I was taken to Artemis hospital where my symptoms were further evaluated. Following the diagnosis, I was advised to begin chemotherapy treatment. The thoughtful care and attention provided by the team made this difficult decision much easier for me to handle. My chemotherapy treatment started, and doctors further advised me to be on treatment for around 3-4 months followed by a bone marrow transplant.
During my treatment journey, I was truly grateful for the love and support showed to me by the Medsurge India team and Dr. Hari Goyal and his medical teams. Their dedication to their patients is exceptional and I could not have gone through my journey without their constant help and motivation. I am now on the road to recovery and grateful for the work of Medsurge India. Their care for their patients is truly commendable and I hope that they continue to excel in their efforts to save lives.
