Hi, my name is Ann Nnenna Ndibe from Lagos, Nigeria, and a mother of five children. One day, I started feeling pain in certain parts of my body and I knew that something was not right. The next day, I was taken to Artemis hospital where my symptoms were further evaluated. Following the diagnosis, I was advised to begin chemotherapy treatment. The thoughtful care and attention provided by the team made this difficult decision much easier for me to handle. My chemotherapy treatment started, and doctors further advised me to be on treatment for around 3-4 months followed by a bone marrow transplant.
