Day 1: Arrival in India

Day 2: Specialist Consultation
The patient meets the gynecologic oncologist or surgical oncology team. Previous reports, biopsy findings, Pap smear results, MRI/CT/PET-CT scans, symptoms, medical history, and current medicines are reviewed.
Day 3: Diagnostic Evaluation
Required tests are performed, including blood tests, imaging review, cardiac evaluation, anesthesia fitness, infection screening, and other investigations advised by the doctor. These tests help confirm disease extent and fitness for surgery.
Day 4: Pre-surgery Planning
The surgical team reviews all reports and finalizes the surgery plan. The patient receives fasting instructions, medicine guidance, consent counseling, bowel or bladder-related instructions if needed, and pre-operative preparation.
Day 5: Surgery Day
Wertheim’s Hysterectomy is performed under general anesthesia. The uterus, cervix, nearby tissues, upper part of the vagina, and pelvic lymph nodes are removed as required, depending on the disease stage and surgical plan.
Day 6–7: ICU Monitoring
