Who is Kana Tanaka?

Tanaka is the youngest of nine siblings and married at the age of 19. When her husband and eldest son were fighting in the Second Sino-Japanese War, which began in 1937, she supported her family by owning a noodle store. In Japan, the number of centenarians has risen. Jiroemon Kimura, also of Japan, was the world’s oldest man when he died in 2013 at the age of 116. Jeanne Calment, a French super-centenarian, lived to reach 122 years old, making her the oldest confirmed known individual in history. In 1997, she passed away.
