Dr. Anoop Misra is a well-known endocrinologist with more than 41 years of experience. He has received India’s top medical honor, the Dr BC Roy Award (2006), as well as the renowned Padma Shree National Honor (2007). He has worked in a number of prestigious medical institutions, including as a member of the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center’s Department of Endocrinology and Human Nutrition and as a World Health Organization Fellow at the Royal Free Hospital’s Department of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Risk.
Dr. Misra has served as an honorary physician to two Indian Prime Ministers and has given numerous award lectures. He also has over 31 years of expertise in teaching, service, research, and community health intervention projects aimed at Asian Indians, particularly the underserved.
