Brief About Dr. Asha Mahilmaran
Dr. Asha Mahilmaran is an experienced interventional cardiologist based in Chennai, India. With over 26 years of expertise in interventional cardiology, her area of focus includes acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and balloon mitral procedures. Throughout her career, she has conducted more than 15,000 preventive heart checks.
Dr. Mahilmaran has also contributed to the medical field through her publications in renowned journals, including an article on familial cardiac myxoma in Carney’s Complex published in the Texas Heart Institute Journal. She is a life member of the Indian Medical Association and the Cardiological Society of India.
