Dr. Cezmi Kahvecioglu, an ophthalmologist based in Istanbul, Turkey, has an impressive 28 years of experience in the field. He graduated from Istanbul English High School in 1978 and obtained his medical degree from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Medicine in 1985. He played a pivotal role in introducing excimer laser and LASIK surgery to Turkey and contributed to early international refractive surgery publications. Dr. Kahvecioglu’s accomplishments have earned him membership in prestigious organizations such as the “American Academy of Ophthalmology” and the Societe Francaise Ophtalmologie. He has also presented his research at numerous national and international conferences. Additionally, Dr. Kahvecioglu is fluent in English and has a special interest in various eye conditions, including color blindness, eye twitching, eye pressure, myopia, albinism, cataracts, hypermetropia, styes, and conjunctivitis.
