Brief About Dr. Dhaval Naik
Dr. Dhaval Naik is a highly esteemed Cardio-Thoracic surgeon with over 21 years of experience in the field of CTVS. He is a distinguished member of the Indian Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Naik completed his MBBS degree in 1997 from BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad. He further pursued advanced studies at Dr. Sheth K L Hospital in 2001. In 2007, he obtained his DNB from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai, followed by a fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney in 2009. Dr. Naik also gained valuable experience as an observer at Heartcentre, Leipzig, Germany, where he specialized in MIS cardiac surgeries. His expertise includes a wide range of cardiac procedures such as heart transplants, cardiothoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiac surgery, pediatric cardiothoracic surgery, Redo CABG, and valvular surgery. Additionally, he performs various complex heart surgeries including aortic aneurysm surgery, CABG, heart tumor surgeries, among others.
Dr. Naik, in collaboration with his team, has successfully conducted 25 heart transplants and has achieved several notable milestones as a surgeon affiliated with CIMS Hospital Ahmedabad. Notably, he was part of the first hospital in Gujarat to perform a heart transplant, implant the first LVAD, perform TAVI, and conduct hybrid CABG surgeries in the state. Dr. Naik has also co-authored and published several papers in leading journals. His special interests lie in CABG, SVR, Redo CABG, Valvular Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Paediatric Cardiac Surgeries, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, and Cardiac Surgery.
