Dr. Hrishikesh D Pai holds an MD, FCPS, FICOG, and MSc, and is recognized as one of the foremost gynecologists in the country. He currently serves as the Secretary General of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI), having previously held the position of Senior Vice President in 2006.
Since 1991, Dr. Pai has been a trailblazer in infertility and in vitro fertilization (IVF). He is the Director of the Bloom IVF Group, which operates nine IVF centers across India, including those at Lilavati Hospital and Bhatia Hospital in Mumbai, as well as Fortis Hospitals located in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Mohali, and Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Hrishikesh D Pai has been at the forefront of introducing several groundbreaking innovations in medical practice, such as assisted laser hatching, spindle view, ovarian tissue freezing for cancer patients, oocyte freezing, intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI), and the embryoscope. In recognition of his significant contributions, he received the Best IVF Group in India award from the international agency Frost & Sullivan in 2013. Furthermore, Dr. Pai has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), marking a historic achievement as the first Indian to hold this position.
