Brief About Dr. Ranjan Kachru
Dr. Ranjan Kachru is a highly experienced Interventional Cardiologist with a remarkable career spanning 39 years. He currently serves as the Additional Director at Fortis Flt. Lt. Rajan Dhall Hospital in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. Dr. Kachru has an extensive background in performing various vascular interventions, including over 5000 procedures such as coronary angioplasties, balloon valvotomies, peripheral angioplasties (including renal and carotid angioplasties), and congenital interventions (such as PDA and ASD closures).
After completing his MBBS in 1982, Dr. Kachru pursued MD in General Medicine in 1989 from the University of Kashmir. He further enhanced his expertise by obtaining DNB in Cardiology from the National Board Of Examination in 2002. His specialization lies in the field of electro-physiology, where he has successfully conducted numerous radio-frequency ablation procedures.
Dr. Kachru is an esteemed member of both the Delhi Medical Council and the Medical Council of India. He has a special interest in treating chest pain, hypertriglyceridemia, cardiac ablation, cardiac catheterization, and cardioversion.
