Dr. Shivashankar is a senior consultant in the Urology department with nearly 34 years of experience. So far, he has performed over 2300 kidney transplants and over 4000 other renal surgeries.
Dr. Shivashankar earned his MBBS in 1987 from the University of Mysore and his MS in 1983 from Stanley Medical College. In 1986, he also completed a Mch in Urology at Madras Medical College in Chennai. Aside from that, he has performed over 7000 ureteroscopic procedures to treat ureteric stones and other conditions.
