Dr. Tapan Mukherjee is a highly experienced General Surgeon based in Kolkata, India. With a remarkable career spanning over 34 years, he has gained expertise in various surgical procedures including Laparoscopic Surgery, Open Abdominal Surgery, and Hernia Repair Surgery.
Dr. Mukherjee obtained his MBBS degree from NRS Medical College and Hospital in 1983, followed by an MS in General Surgery from UCM Calcutta in 1990. He further pursued DNB – General Surgery from the National Board of Examination, India, in 1995. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Mukherjee has achieved notable accolades such as the Gold Medal in the BN Mukherjee Memorial Anatomy Quiz, College Scholarship in Anatomy, Surgery, and 1st Prize & Gold Medal for the best paper presentation in a competitive paper presentation at VIMS Calcutta.
